Founder & Executive Director
Service to others is one of the core values that define Jason. Before joining the military, Jason served as a staffing partner with Communities in Schools, Houston, Texas, and Communities in Schools, Southeast Harris County.
While serving in inner-city middle schools, Jason met student needs by tutoring, encouraging, and helping them meet their potential. Jason also gave his time to after-school programs as a karate instructor in several elementary schools.
Since 2001, Jason has been serving the people of the United States by serving in the Army. He has deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan on four occasions (41 months total) as a Combat Medic. Jason has treated many trauma patients and has provided remote health care to teammates.
Most of Jason's years in service have been in overseas locations, including seven years in Europe and one year in Peru. While in Peru, Jason became active in the Camino de Vida church in Lima, where he was involved in community outreach programs in and around Lima.
